Drama Notebook : Your Basket

Ages 5-10, 9 sessions, 120 pages Students explore the strange and fascinating world of nature in this lively series of lessons. They create their own characters based on exotic plants, and rehearse and perform two short plays, “The Selfish Giant,” by Oscar Wilde, and “La Mariposa,” an original script based on a Spanish folktale. As written, the lesson plan covers nine hours of class time, but is packed with extra activities and can easily be expanded to fit a longer time frame or even a week-long camp.
