What is a classic?

When we hear “classic,” we might think “old” but that is not always true. A classic story or play might represent a certain genre, or it might be a story that has made an important contribution to literature or theatre. Classics come from all different cultures and time periods. This collection of classic plays are stories that are in the public domain and have made a great impact on storytelling. They have all stood the test of time and their messages still ring true today.
